We are now near Katui, staying at Pastor Joshua's house, about 500m
away from the church which we met at today. Pastor Joshua along with
the lead pastor, Pastor Ben, lead the church. It is a different area
here. More rural, no electricity, though we are in a larger house.
After breakfast, we headed to church.
Looking back:
Started with worship; the kids are the worship leaders!
Levi shared on the power of testimonies.
Played with kids and talked with people.
I shared on prayer, purpose, and preparation.
Lampstone had a very energy-filled praise session where we shouted
praises to God.
After lunch, we jumped back into worship with the kids leading us.
Lampstone led a short session on letting go of bitterness, and
choosing forgiveness. MANY people, (maybe 40) came forward to forgive
someone.
Levi spoke on choosing joy and the power of laughter.
We transitioned into a miracle service where the kids prayed and laid
hands on the sick. At least 8 were healed of physical pain.
About 10 ex-witches praise God at this church!
On the way home, we prayed for a young boy named francis and for his
siblings, his grandma was a witch before she died. Francis had
something that looked like a terrible infection on his legs. We
blessed them.
We then visited a witch's wife and her family. She is a christian, and
was extremely frateful for the visit. We blessed them and prayed
freedom over them.
Back at the house with pastors and friends we shared testimonies and
learned about each other. Pastor Ben shared that tonight on arriving
home after receiving prayers and blessing, a lady received a call from
her husband which she had not heard from in 10 years. Tonight he sent
money for her family to head out on a reunion bus the coming day!
Notes and praises:
The moonless night away from lights made for an incredible star-lit night.
They have had an almost year-long drought here. We're praying for rain!
